Meet Fen Fen, a delightful feline hailing from the Exotic Shorthair breed. With his chubby and fluffy appearance, it’s hard not to instantly fall in love with this adorable ball of fur. Unlike his Persian relatives, Fen Fen boasts a more manageable coat, making him even more endearing to cat enthusiasts. His plump cheeks are a prominent feature, and it’s no wonder he has stolen the hearts of countless internet users. After conducting some thorough investigation, we were thrilled to uncover that Fen Fen calls the Pink Pig Cattery in Shanghai his home.
It seems like his face has been meticulously groomed to have perfectly round cheeks. But, irrespective of how his cheeks ended up that way, we like to believe it’s sheer magic, and no one can deny his regal and fluffy charm. Needless to say, we were all absolutely captivated by him and couldn’t stop gazing at his endearing pictures. While it never crossed our minds before, there’s a strange appeal in the idea of shaving a cat’s face to resemble an incredibly chubby squirrel!
We absolutely adore the appearance of a large, chubby feline. They are irresistibly snuggly and lovable. However, it’s important to acknowledge that obesity in cats is detrimental to their health, and ultimately, prioritizing their well-being is more important than their cuddliness. Although Fen Fen’s plump physique adds to his charm, it’s crucial to recognize that feline obesity can lead to various illnesses such as diabetes, skin complications, and even arthritis or joint pain. We genuinely hope that Fen Fen’s owner will consistently provide excellent care to ensure his happiness and overall health.
In a more lighthearted vein, it has been suggested that the tranquil gracefulness commonly associated with Persians can also be observed in exotic shorthairs. However, to our amusement, these cats seem to derive greater pleasure from engaging in playful interactions with their human companions. Consequently, one cannot help but long for the opportunity to lovingly pinch their adorable, plump cheeks. We certainly do!
